Could Mammoths Survive the Mesozoic?

The Mesozoic era spanned the time from around 250 million years ago until 66 million years ago. It included the more famous Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods. During this time, the supercontinent Pangaea began breaking up and the modern-day continents moved into their current locations. It was a time when reptilians ruled the world, characterized mostly by the dinosaurs and flying reptiles. There was a huge amount of change to life on Earth. The geography of the planet changed enormously through this period and as a result, the climate and subsequent animal and plant life transformed.
At the beginning of the Mesozoic era, there were no mammals on Earth. But it wasn't long before the very first mammalians appeared. These were mostly shrew-like animals, small and insignificant in a land of reptilian giants. But they would grow and evolve into some of the most diverse creatures on the planet.
Today we ask the question, could mammoths have survived the Mesozoic?

Just to let everyone know, not all mammoths are hairy, only the woolly mammoth and steppe mammoth were truly hairy.

This is a minor correction but you say there were bigger and more ferocious dinosaurs than T-Rex. However Tyrannosaurus Rex was actually the biggest Carnivorous Dinosaur. It could get around 11 tons and recent findings are showing that it could have gotten even bigger than this. While there are some Therapods that were slightly longer than the Tyrannosaurus or slightly taller. Tyrannosaurus was much bigger and more robust. While dinosaurs that are commonly called "bigger than the tyrannosaurus" like Giganotosaurus are theorized to weigh from 6 to 8 tons significantly less massive. Tyrannosaurus also had the most powerful bite of any Terrestrial animal to ever live at 35, 000 newtons.

Also, I don't think they would've been able to survive that time because it would've been too hot for them!

It's impossible; dinosaurs have already died out long before mammoths evolved.

Did you know that mammoths (genus Mammuthus) are more advanced than african elephants (genus Loxodonta)?
