Recto verso means front and back in french when referring to cards, coin, sheets of paper, etc.

I'm so confused about Tom's description of La Boca. I've never played it with silly stuff like touching heads or something. It's just temporary teams of two making a structure with big wooden block 3D pieces against a timer where each person can only see one side of the structure. Winner is single person who did best with the various temporary team members.

"Recto" and "Verso" means "Front" and "Back" for publishing/cataloguing purposes, which makes sense in that game as you can only see your own side. The Latin convention is carried into a few board games, such as the original versions of Zombicide, when during setup you needed to find tiles "R03" and "V12", etc.

Careful of that Villains/Heul Doch Mau Mau. "Mau Mau" is basically a dumbed down version of UNO that doesn't work as well.

Mistwind reminds me of the cover of Windward, but they are different but I thought that was an expansion.

Mechs vs minions being #1 for a sequel are people like me who missed the game and cant find it anywhere hoping for a reprint. Expansions / sequels usually comes with a reprint

Missed opportunity to give an opinion on Puerto Rico 1897. Are you happy they changed it? Every other game gets an opinion.

Btw, I'd appreciate being able to buy extra pads for the Clever series rather than a whole new game, but the man deserves money for the incredible design work that goes into balancing each one of those completely different boards. I've played them hundreds of times, and the skill cap is very high.
