And pea shoots!! Sow any kind of pea seeds thickly in a box, under cover in winter, or in the open garden, and start harvesting the Iarge green leaf tips after about 3 weeks. Keep harvesting every few days for months! A delicious taste of peas whether in salads or stir fried. A wonderful vegetable to grow through winter in a cold frame or greenhouse.

Awesome! I'll do this, since I'm bored and quarantined at home!
Stay safe, everyone!

Tip about fast growing green onions (especially in tight spaces): wait until the plants reach about 20cm (8") in height and instead of pulling them out one by one harvest only the top 5cm (2") or so of the leafs with a sharp pair of scissors. The leaf tips are the most tender and least spicy part anyway, while having the same amount of flavor as any other part of the plant. Providing they get adequate amounts of moisture, light and nutrients they will continue re-growing leafs throughout the year and also much faster than re-growing the entire stem all the way up from the bottom. Some previously cut leaves may dry out, but new ones will continue sprouting from the center, usually you can re-cut the same plant as often as every 5 days or so.
