Full screen home was such a downgrade. Also the pink is gone which is so sad and makes the menu boring. I loved when the pointer was red and the buttons were colored. I also liked the font on Webos 5 and the home bar.

I definitely prefer WebOS 5, mainly because of the much less distracting home screen, and because the TVs still had play/pause buttons. I was torn between getting an LG or Panasonic TV. But WebOS 5 TVs are almost impossible to find now, so I got a Panasonic and I'm very happy with it, even though some apps are missing and the UI looks very dated. But it's super snappy and can do some tricks others could only dream of!

The CX just got a new OS looks like 6 and 7 mixed. You do have the option to switch back to 5 thankfully. Cool to see we are still getting updates.

It's WebOS 2 and 3 in the US but the changes are the exact same as in this video.

I have WebOS 1 or 2, shame that some navigational issues are still there, i just wonder if these versions are as laggy/slow to start as the older ones? Not a fan of WebOS, they should have studied what functions are mostly used and not hide them into annoying subdialogs.

Thank god I was able to change the style back to style of 5. I hate that the 6 takes the whole screen and looks like every other TV OS, which I highly dislike.

I am happy to own a CX9 without minimize brightness or something like Shit from the C1 😇 My TV is much brighter than C1 and I think in 2 or 3 Years I change my TV for a better Version with K8 or something and OF COURSE from LG ☝ One Time LG always LG 🙌🥰🙌 Witch WebOS is better for me ? 🤔 WebOS 5 is for me better than 6.0 🤷‍♀ The new Firmware for my CX9 I have installed but changed it from WebOS 6.0 to WebOS 5.0 😊

with 04.41.35 LG firmware update webos 5 now gets the full screen home page ((webos 5.4.3-34 'jhericurl-jebil)) much like in webos6, ; thankfully can disable back to webOS5 standard home page

How do I factory reset my TV? I hate this new crap. Every difference was change for the sake of change and makes everything appear less intuitive. The home-screen is terrible! It's just like Chrome and all the rest now... There's nothing more irksome than software developers changing the UI on a product you already own, when you like it the way it is! I pretty much choose an LG over the competition because I liked the UI the best. Thanks a lot LG.
