BOSS: Metal Zone 30th Anniversary MT-2 3A

Back in 1991 BOSS released the Metal Zone. A classic pedal full of powerful tones that needs to be tamed and tethered in order to be understood and used successfully (in my opinion). The Metal Zone has stood the test of time and this year BOSS celebrates its 30th Anniversary with this commemorative release in basic black and grey. Very cool. And very rocking! This is a pedal for the guitarist who has everything - or not quite. Happy Anniversary BOSS and the MT-2. Rock on.

My eyes must be deceiving me...I've literally been watching Brett Kingman since...I don't know, 2010? 2009? This guy is THE OG demoer, and I CANNOT believe he only has 65k subs. After watching dozens of Metal Zone videos I'm convinced the haters didn't bother to dial in the EQ or reign in the distortion. They bought into the negativity and parroted what they heard. This pedal is incredibly versatile. Whats not to like?

Back in the 90s if a guy turned up for a jam session with a metalzone you'd never invite him back but since actually owning one I've come to appreciate that it does a great job of 'metalzoning' there's nothing else that does 'that thing'
