The fact that he won the ucl with Liverpool while their team finished in the Europa league spot makes this impressive

His achievements at Valencia (last team to win La Liga outside of Madrid, Barca and ATM) and his early years at Liverpool (Won the UCL with an average Liverpool side against one of the best teams ever assembled) remains some of the most impressive any manager has pulled off in recent memory. Shame that terrible owners detailed his time at Liverpool and he hasn't really accomplished much since then

He’s still capable of doing a job at a big club if giving the chance. Chelsea pick poch to manage there side under huge pressure. This is what Rafa thrives on. Take Everton away he’s had a very impressive career. The top teams who are struggling should be looking at him. He doesn’t belong fighting relegation.

Maybe consider Paulo Autuori, who managed São Paulo from April/05 and won a Libertadores Cup 2 months later, went on to beat Rafa's Liverpool in December.

Great manager, but this video needs more context:
1. Rafa took over Valencia after they had just gotten to the UCL final. Hardly a team who needed massive change.
2. It was easier to win the league back then. There were tons of different league winners throughout history. Only the past few years have leagues become "farmers leagues, " like Bayern, Juventus, PSG, etc.

Yeah well Jose beat the European elites with half a decent side with Porto in 2003 with consecutive trebles twice in a row (winning the Europa league in 2002 with the same squad) but RAFA was the best manager in the world at the time eh?
