I wouldn’t do that hose since the idle control valve is there. Use the other hose below it.

They also make a spry can for the intake cleaning.. Directions say to keep the engine at about 2k rpm while putting in.. then shut car down for 10 to 15 minutes.. then restart.. let it smoke.. after smoke starts to clear.. drive spirited to clean it out.

This is definitely necessary it's not wasting it at all this is what a fuel induction service is known for..very important service to do at least every year or every other year the only thing I see that you're doing wrong is as soon as you're done pouring it you're stepping on the exhaust you're supposed to shut the engine off and let it heat soak and do its thing for about 45 minutes and then turn it on and start stepping on the gas

I use it as a fuel stabilizer in all my vehicles it lasts years not months. Never had any issues with it. You can use it in your oil but you have to change it right away. Best way to clean the Inside of an engine is frequent oil changes once it darkens change it.

I've used it before on my past cars, never had any issues. Actually cleared a misfire once. 😅

Yeah if you do it in the crank case it can clog the oil pickup tube with all the debris it knocks loose. I did that with the BULLITT once and it pooled up in the air intake and drained back down to the filter I would think that it could possibly Hydro- lock the engine

I use a spray can method on my 2005 crown Vic lx

Did you have to change your oil after 100-300 miles you use seafoam.

Some people thought that I blew up my engine when I did this. If you did this in a major city you might get a ticket for polluting the air. Anyway, I've heard of better oil and fuel treatments than this.

Ya definitely wouldn’t put sea foam in the oil…I usually will only add mystery oil or oil thickening compounds or additives (Lucas or STP) in my oil, but my Mustang only gets the trusted mystery oil…

I've never used it before and don't have a reason to in the cobra. Probably better off without it

Is Seafoam something you would put in the gas tank of your Terminator Cobra?

Originally SeaForm was developed for 2-stroke outboard motors. All of the reviews I’ve watch about SeaFoam don’t recommend it for automotive use for all the reasons you stated in this video. You could end up with bits & pieces of your engine in the oil pan.

I’ve been thinking of doing this to my 1999 cobra, but the right way but I’m still nervous about it
