In this video we complete a front windshield mounted Lane Departure Warning camera calibration, this particular Ford, like most Fords, is a dynamic calibration requiring a scan tool and driving under certain environmental conditions, not a target board like most imported vehicles.

I'm sure you know but the newer Expeditions and Navigators require LSID to do the cala which as you know takes extra time getting the proper paperwork around. Unfortunately service information does not tell you ahead of time.

In California to Pass Brake and Lamp—this camera has to work properly period. —because it affects: Braking, Acceleration, and tied in into ABS which is part of Brake and Lamp inspection. i myslef is an inspector look for this all the time.

Hello, I bought a truck that you worked on about 11 months ago. Ford f 250. Wiring issue. Truck is doing the same thing again. How did you fix it? Idles fine but ony drive about a mile and dies.

Hey Keith, I had safelite come out per my insurance and they replaced my windshield but couldn’t calibrate it. They tried twice. It worked before I had the windshield replaced. They claimed it’s cause of my lift kit. I have a BDS 6” coilover kit. Insurance told me to take it to Ford, Ford couldn’t calibrate it either claiming there were codes and they didn’t know what they were. So here I am still months later and have defective pre collision warning system, no auto High beams, etc. Ford had said it calibrated then about 5 seconds later it says not calibrated. Have you ever seen this problem? Would you have any information on this scenario?

My adaptive cruse control dont work seems wierd dealer did changed the windsield i tried turning on and off the adaptive cruse control and still does the same thing you try to turn the cruse control on and only stays on like 2/3 seconds and a red light comes out on the bottom of the cruse control in the dash..

Next, they going to tell you need to have it calibrated every time you put cargo in the truck bed or tow a trailer.
