One of the many things I loved about this show is nobody is a super hero. Everyone has a specialty, maybe 2, and are generally good at other things, but nobody is exceptional at everything. "Are you a good pilot?" "No. I'm a Marine. Pilots carry me to kill things."

Seems odd to me that the high-G couches aren't more cradle-like, supporting the head from all sides.

I love how Avasarala is going crazy here because for the first time in years, she's got no control over the situation whatsover so she starts lashing out a Bobbie when she says she's sorry about Cotyar like a real person probably would in these circumstances since she's a politician, not a spacefaring warrior.

Yet later, in S6, she's leading the entire fleet from the bridge of the UNN flagship and when she's asked why (because it's fucking dangerous for the head of the UNN to be on the frontlines), she says that it's because "if certain orders need to be given, I'll give them myself".

Personally, I think The Expanse has the best character development in all of tv history and that's the hill I choose do die on.

I wish their effects/makeup people had the budget and abilities to do anything at all to convince us that these people are experiencing high G, like tape their face skin back, or something.

Terrible series. Read the books and see. Started off ok, then devolved away from canon. Meh.
