I just gigged my tonex one a few weeks ago! My drummer who has been playing for 30 years said I sounded fantastic. I just have the tonex one with a bunch of pedals and a Fender Fr-12. I love my sound

Two of those can make a top tier modeller. Use one as an amp / cab sim and other one for trailing FX. Place a vol / exp pedal inbetween this way can to keep your tails on volume swells. A little reverb on the FX unit will help with switch gabs. I was not expecting much for the FX but they are actually good FX. The Tone X One is an incrdible piece of gear.

You can put it in a scenes mode. Although this is a set up menu it can double as a scenes mode. Simply press the alt / switch and you have access to all three presets available. Hopefully IK makes an update to this menu to lock it plus gapless switching. This is the mode I use on mine mostly. But if i need just A/B its easy enough to switch to that mode.

This year the Tonex pedal was my favorite until the UAFX Enigmatic Supplanted it. Sounds excellent.
Profiles/Captures unfortunately are a rabbit hole I tend to fall into.

I have it and the regular tonex pedal and the full sized is definitely worth the price. It says it holds 20 captures (and it does) but you only have access to 2 at a time, or 1 if you use the stompbox mode. I wish they allowed you to cycle through 3, 4 or really how many you wanted to.

A Tonex pedal that sits between the full-sized pedal and the Tonex One would be awesome. Call it the "Tonex Two" maybe? Have a small screen to make the UI a little easier if you don't want to connect it to a phone/computer.

I think the most interesting thing here is that the Line 6 HX stomp which costs 3 times the ToneX one and is quite old now is in the number 3 spot compared to number 9.

I bought one 33% off. AUD 220 is wild. People are complaining about the software. I found it really easy? And also nice get to use it as a plugin in DAW. I just found one capture i liked from a free TJ pack of a free deluxe reverb clean. Works for me. Glad i bought it.

Played the ToneX Pedal. Great. But i would like instead of a flagship a little medium sized with only e few more options, like a second footswitch or at least the possibilityto connect external switches. Thats what makes the Boss IR-2 more usable or flexible. A line out for headphones, to plug it in any audio device with a speaker without the need of a laptop.
Well, it would be nice to maintain the size but i guess its not theat easy to keep the footprint with another big 6, 3 mm Jack but maybe two additional 3, 6mm.

IK's tone models were fairly underwhelming but after trying some of Amalgam Audio's releases I'm very happy with the Tonex

Honestly, I use a combination of a Tonex pedal for amps, IRs and the new effects, and a Tonex one as a distortion, overdrive or fuzz pedal, plus a Boos RC5 looper, and a midi pedal from which I activate and deactivate previously configured effects in each preset, and believe me It is really a delight, I understand that the software may seem confusing at first, but nothing that you cannot easily use in a while, this simply seems to me to be a very poor excuse for all the quality it offers Tonex for an amazing price.

I have a tone master pro and a tonex one I use them alternate, the tonex is Ona analogue board I have, direct front of house sounds great pity you can’t use the effects when not connected to the computer

Light speed is legit but it didn't replace my blues breaker for a low gain
