We love Amtrak! We just returned from latest journey from West Virginia to Glenwood Springs (Cardinal & California Zephyr!) and return in late May. PLEASE put 2nd sleeper on the Cardinal, the demand for sleepers is at an all time high. You have extra ones sitting in Florida! *Cheers!*

The coziest way to travel by Amtrak is in a private bedroom, on a long round trip. Heavy weather with rain and snow storms make fall and winter trips even better. Meals delivered to your room with an en suite shower so you can stay wrapped up in warm loungewear. Entertainment by DVDs, Netflix, knitting, reading, phone visits, etc.
