If you have to park in a high risk place or just feel concerned, find the fuse box and remove a critical fuse (check the handbook to decide)

I like ‘Bigster’ 😂. I currently drive a ‘Wedgestar’, so I could deal with owning a Bigster 👍.
Times are a changing Jim, and I wonder if car leasing will overtake car ownership, and that the cost of the lease will incorporate road tax etc.
We may be on the brink of another bank collapse, and people’s purchasing power will be curtailed… again 😣.
Apparently, tracking devices can even be put in cash now, so as you say road fund will probably be done on mileage via a car’s tracker (no tracker, no car!) etc.
Thankfully I’m old, because the next couple of decades look set to be ones of major upheaval, and loss of rights that we take for granted now.
I’m going to prepare my Honda Jazz for the apocalypse to come… Mad Max style 🤣… renaming Hetty as the ‘Wrecking Wedgestar ⭐️’
Great video Jim … lots to ponder 👍

I’m looking to replace my small van, prices are ridiculous.
Manufacturers are price fixing, no movement in price.

👍👍👍 Apparently (according to Scotty Kilmer) some insurance companies in America are refusing to insure Kia's and Hyundai's as the cars are so easily stolen because they are not fitted with immobilizer's.

Interested to know your opinion on EV.
I am motor trade and we have all seen used EVs plummet in price and there isn't really any sign of the values leveling at the minute. I was at an auction last week and watching EVs still do 4k behind book. Even when we are the cheapest out there we still massively struggling to sell them and are losing fortunes when we do. People just don't want them unless they are seriously cheap. I find it scary to see manufacturers invest so much money in EVs for a product that most of the public clearly do not want to buy. The only people who want to drive them are company car drivers. I cannot see these government EV targets ever happening. Are manufacturers shooting themselves in the foot by focusing so much on EV?

More massive cars, just what we need.

With the price of ev’s coming down would you buy a jag ipace 19 plate with 50, 000 on the clock for £25000. As they were about £63000 new? Or will the price on cars plummet more ? Cheers

Just to clarify - synthetic fuels actually do create tailpipe emissions in exactly the same way as normal fuel. The difference is the carbon they are releasing isn't from fossils fuel, and in theory it can be carbon neutral.

VW has been strange with their EVs. When they facelift'ed the eUP, they doubled the battery capacity! But rumour it was a loss making car. It had more kwh than the bigger eGolf. The ID2 looks amazing, they said the interior is bigger than a golf, so who needs an ID3? The 7 seat ID Buzz is just laziness, the current SWB Buzz already has a gigantic boot completed with fully padded arm rest and usbc ports but no 3rd row seats!? Larger battery may help, but they really need to keep the weight down. The seats are far too heavy, change to the ones in Touran or ID3/4. The doors and tailgate are so heavy, they can be made in aluminium.
