I understand the game is meant to be a grind and rare fish you should’nt sell but at the same time it’s a bit odd that you can catch a fish over 16K kg like the mesosauras for it to sell for only 7k….. I think the prices of things should get a slight revamp along with the rarity of things to balance it out like this comment if you agree comment on this comment if you don’t so I can hear you out :) ❤

1. Phantom meg's are only caught during real time weekends.
2. 90% for normal meg, 8% for phantom, 2% for ancient
3. normal meg has -80%, phantom has -85% and ancient should have -80%
4. ancient is not obtainable yet i think. (it got fixed)
5. hop a hasty kings rod with seaweed or shark head for your best chances, then do the UI Navigation clicking method.
6. it despawns every 10 minutes so make sure your near the spawn whilst using sundials. (The time got increased but idk how long it takes now)
7. resilient destiny rod with a lure speed bait like worm is a great option for luck, just like trident which can help you fish due to its stabs.
8. u cant get it with rotd passive effect.
9. i recommend also joining fresh servers and private servers (ex. after updates or after possibly a couple hours when theres a new season.
10. if u dont have enough money to buy the totems, fish for mosasaurus as it gives 7k cash when you sell it.
11. Voyager rod with hasty and and resilience bait like coral or deep coral would be great due to its passive effect helping you catch it faster.
12. resilient rotd with something like worm is also an good idea, as you dont lose ur resilience and then fish.

Edit: for 1. it just decreases the luck drastically, but i dont really know if u can get it.
Edit 2: for 6, it now takes 10 minutes for it to get away, and when it does a message will be sent saying '' The Megalodon got away... '
Edit 3: for 4, it got fixed

a method that works best is using storming enchant with rotd, then do the sundial method, after that pop a tempest totem forcing rain.Use coral geode as bait for resilience{easier to catch}

bought 50 totems, it spawned 3 times but not once did i get a bite. 5 minutes before it despawns is ridiculous

I have used hundreds of sundials and found its best to rejoin like he said to get them to spawn but even then i have had 4 spawn where i cast over 20 times each one with shark heads and I have never got it on the line for some reason

I gotchu but from what I heard from a dev Meg (that has spawned with totems despawns in 3 minutes

used up 80 sundials with 8x luck, only got one to spawn, then got cluttered with too many mythicals and the meg ended up swimming away.

How are you catching them? Whenever I get it In a private server i can never even get it on my rod in general, even if I use shark heads, it just despawns
