I think the king of MTB YouTube channels is your fellow Aussie, mtbTips! Watched loads of those videos when I started out and I didn't do to bad.

Man, when you see the cinematography that goes into your vlogs along with the content it's easy to see how the channel can only grow in popularity. Quality's well up there with the biggest hitters on youtube

Hamish 110% correct about visualising (and planning for) what is ahead and what may cause a crash.. similar to how one rides a TT bike in the aeros. Good tips in this VLOG!

Mate how many hours did Rosie accompany you guys for that day?
PS: she's an Australian kelpie, herding the last sheep back to the group... Not a camera lover. :D

You always have the best tracks to your vids!! Can't wait to hear what the opening track is! Also, sweet drone footage

A good tip when buying an XC hard tail is buy one size smaller!!! Gives you and the bike lots of room to move around on technical sections of trails!

A great upgrade to help on descents or even over obstacles like that log is to fit a dropper post, it really helps getting the saddle out of the way to get your weight back over the rear tyre and can help reduce a lot of over the bar crashes.

Following a tire is the best way to learn to ride better, just seeing how to enter a corner, carry speed, climb, ect.
Looks like you have som nice fast flow trails there.

Ferg! You shudda ridden that log, man. That's age kicking in LOL! When we were all younger and fearless we'd have done that on a whim, now we're older, wisdom and the thought of possible injury kicks in. Next time, brah, next time.

Keep up the good work.

It is wonderful to see how you have progressed. When will the kits be available and how can I get into the surgical instrument sales industry?

Those trails look fun. Good riding guys. If any of y'all ever get a chance to come to the states, particularly North Carolina, hit me up and I will take you on the ride of your lives. Promise

Biking or hiking up a long ascent try not to think too much about the climb, focus on the sense of achievement when you reach the summit. The bigger the hill, the bigger the grins at the top. :-) Especially when ascending a hillside track or trail on a bike don't forget to mentally note features you see on the way up so you can make the most of the trail features on the descent and you know where to ease up & take it steady where those features may push you beyond your comfort zone. Think positive & you are more likely to have a more positive outcome. You guys have some truly awesome landscapes, make the most of them & keep smiling! :-) All the best from 'Hairy Paul' (Mad mountain biker in Scotland)

You know you're still on the mechanical jive when your levers are sounding like Morgan Freeman. When they open their yaps mine are all Di2 this, eTap that, and Hydro's your uncle sounding like James Franco on a bender. Lol.
