Draw works are amazing machines. They can lift immense weights very quickly and stop on a dime (so to speak). They have to hold tens of thousands of feet of thick steel tubing hanging gently millimeters above the bottom of an oil well being drilled, while lowering the whole thing slowly enough to keep the drill bit gently touching the bottom as it chews away at the rock (if there is too much pressure down, the drill bit bogs down and can break). Then it lifts the whole drilling column a bit, so the column can be hung from the edge of the well, while a new section (called in the industry a 'joint') of pipe is added between the hung drilling column and the top drive (the motor that spins the drilling column). All that, and it can pull the whole drilling column up ('tripping', as it is said), stopping at every joint to remove them, just so the drill bit can be brought up to the surface (to change it for a new, sharp one — or a smaller diameter one — wells are drilled large at the top, with diminishing diameters towards the bottom).

In short, they pull insane weights with amazing control, capable of stopping and holding thousands of tons with great accuracy.

The water has excellent _damping_ properties as well as excellent _dampening_ properties.

Regarding the Yellow Win95 assembly...
I used to work in a shipyard where we built Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) powered ships.
This kind of sharp angle is usually included to absorb the sudden contraction of cryogenic fluids. You can't design a sliding seal that will work under those conditions so adding a sharp diverted section allows to concentrate that movement in a single place instead of having the pipe break out of it's holding structure at the risk of failure.
It is for instance quite common in LNG emergency valve divertion.

Felix, your show has become so professional and slick! I have been a subscriber of WAI from the very beginning and I remember how awkward and hesitant you seemed in the first few episodes. Now you truely, genuinely rock, with a confidence and charisma that is nothing short of inspirational. Good onya mate, best wishes from Oz.

The outtakes are hilarious! 😂😂😂

I loved the renderings of the launch table coming together.. so cool, hopefully those steel rings will be attached soon!

The yellow pipes remind me of the way supports for steel rollercoasters are constructed. Those handle giant repeated dynamic loads.

The water Pipe on sound supression system is WAY to small.
It looks like it's something for fire fighters.
