Autotrader think its worth £2790 in a private sale if in good condition or £1360 px at one of the quick sale and collect merchants. They will knock it back heavily though on bodywork.

So he couldn’t afford the maintenance on a bmw he more then likely cannot afford to maintain the Dacia . People like that shouldn’t be allowed to own a car

A 14 year old BMW? I wouldn't offer anything and just walk away. Old luxury cars are not worth the money or hassle.

All the clues that this owner doesn't care about their car. This is a typical BMW money pit and a bad one at that, i would only offer basic trade for a car in poor condition.

If want to trade on and make £200 I’d say £750. About £1k to do timing chain on it’s own if that went before could trade on. If mark down all faults on WBAC it’ll drop to around £1k anyway. The Logan needs £650 of cambelt kit and water pump, brake fluid, wiper blades and oil change to be spot on.

Dependant on length of MOT, £400-£600 and trade it on. No MOT? Point in direction of nearest scrappy

Surely in a situation like that you suggest he washes it and takes it to wbac, if they chip him and he comes back to you then you offer £900 to a £1000 max if that is more he'll take it knowing that his only option is less

I wouldn’t be surprised if the indicators don’t work either, most BMWs tend to have this problem. (or is it the drivers?) 😂😮😊 They really must want rid of it, as after owning a BMW who would really want a Dacia??

Could have some miles left in it but its MOT history is like War and Peace. Can't be more than £750 and don't let it eat up the margin on the Dacia!
