I bought an 05 LX last year to learn to drive manual. It is really a great car with tremendous versatility. It is a bit bouncy on the highway and the mileage blows, but that is to be expected driving a toaster 70mph.

I had an ‘06 with the 5MT. Loved it but just wish it had either a v6 or a 6MT. On the highway it sits at 4K rpms and with the aerodynamics of an ice chest, the mileage was not great.

The way I drove I was lucky to get 15mpg out of my element. It did simultaneously haul a washer and drier home from Costco so there's that.
