This Saturday…. Nov 4, is my ‘07 SC Elements seventeenth birthday! I bought it new… never dreamed I’d have it this long, but it’s been the best car I’ve ever owned. I had the crazy idea of selling it two years ago for a monster price, but my family knocked some sense into me…… I’m keepin it…………… “from my cold dead hands”……….

Except it can easily open next to practically anything.

if I were homeless, this is one of the best compact vehicles to live in.

1st Mod I did on my E was put in an emergency release on the back hatch to be able to get out if I needed to. Only have to use it where there is "compact parking".

The wing door is easily one of the best features, the worst thing about them is the suspension not being up to what they haul

Love my Element => but is there a way to make the ride less bumpy/jarring? Specific shocks? Specific tires? Etc.

Yes! I have an '05 and it's the greatest vehicle I've ever owned. I built out a fiberglass subwoofer enclosure for the spare tire well and man oh man! I feel like a teen again.

While there’s no B pillar because of the design these cars are actually stronger than a regular car due to extra metal above and a across the roof and the floor. With the doors closed it completes the B pillar and is extremely strong.

Is there a way to turn off the beeping for the driver-side door being opened? like it's the most obnoxious sound in the world and it seems like there is no way to turn it off. My E is a 2008 EX

I have a 2008… 140, 000 miles. Still looks amazing, I love my car. Never giving it up. Wish they would sell this again. But I would still keep my 2008

if anything, the flaw would be having a pillar right there

We keep that same native print blanket in our Honda Element! Found ours randomly at a gas station somewhere in Nebraska.

I think I found the prefect car for me. Small enough that it doesn’t look like a camper but big enough to be comfortable in

The real flaw is the weak engine, and also the older models have the seatbelt attached to the back door which sucks when the person in the back wants to get out and u gotta take the seatbelt off. Newer models moved the seatbelt to the shoulder area of the chair to fix this issue
