These are the types of questions I get regarding the videos I share online. So I wanted to put together a quick video showing my settings so you can achieve the same results. In this video we cover the best recording formats, resolution, framerate and wether you should use Dolby Vision HDR and ProRes or not.

hanks foor these tips I have now turned off HDR mode - and what a difference! Especially in Cinematic mode, where the images used to seem to jump out, and not in a good way!

Thanks for this very thorough rundown of camera settings. It’s refreshing seeing someone validate the native iOS camera app. 👏🏻

Nice. Thanks for video. A question : what microphone do you use for sound? I like the sound of your voice. Thanks

On the 23 ultra there is high bitrate and high efficiency video under 'advanced video settings'. What's the iphone equivalent that would refer to? I never saw those on standard galaxy's before.

Are you using an iphone to film yourself in this video? If so, how are you getting the background blurry?

I wanted to upgrade from iPhone 11 I try to 13 pro and a 14 pro and a 15. All of them have horrible software for skintones. So yes you get the cinematic feature, but then you're going to have to spend a lot of time in post if you're shooting anybody and don't want them to look gritty, gray and over contrasted.
