Alberta taking action against rural crime

The Alberta government will provide extra training to 400 peace officers who work in fish and wildlife, commercial vehicle enforcement and as traffic sheriffs to help combat what they say is an epidemic of rural crime.

What we really need is castle doctrine and a specialized firearms course for self defence.

Seems like Crime and criminals can be tolerated in Alberta, but homeowners are not allowed to protect themselves.

Give rural citizens guns and the ability to protect their family and property with no back lash and guess what the crime problem is solved.

Peace Officers DO NOT fall under ASIRT, and are not subject to the Police act. If something occurs under this hybrid system there will be no system in place to hold responding members accountable, and the community safe from abuse of power. Police, Sherifs, and Community Peace Officers each play an important role, but they are different roles for a reason, it is not just training, it is background checks, and regulations.

Everyone should have a right to defend their property and themselves with what ever force is needed. No one should be allowed to come, steal harm another's effort of survival that they acquired legally and peacefully.
There should be no legal group or authority that should stop anyone from living a peaceful life without threats from any source,
Any legal source that says they have a right to put criminals above those who are keeping the law is wrong. They who enforce the rights of criminals should be jailed !

Alberta is weird. I wish we were allowed to buy body armour but nope. Need a permit. Atleast concealed carry
