things I have learnt... American near misses are so much less dramatic than European ones. they have a lorry pull out in front of them at 300 yards, and they act like it's 10 feet away....blimey! come to Europe, we'll teach you how to ride in traffic!

You hug the pavement because you lack the skill to hold your line in a curve, you invite cars to pass you by in your lane. Don't give mixed messages if you don't want people to pass you by in your lane.
