This is why gear is so important. You see the guys with better gear get up and can walk away. The girl had on cheep gloves and a helmet and had rashed up breasts. Crying and laying on the side of the road. Reality is she's lucky to be alive. Everyone ride safe please the world is crazy.

1:45 This is a perfect example. Riders need to try and see POTENTIAL problems and ride accordingly. Here, you can see the black car tailgating. That tells me he's impatient and just MIGHT make a sudden idiot move, so fall back and stay away. Riding long enough, you become a good judge of other bad drivers and can often guess correctly who might give you a problem.
This rider was WAY to close as it was.
Also, when riding, ALWAYS give yourself (be aware of) 3-4 "outs"...places you can dip to without looking (because you've already aware that you're clear there)
A good rider is always paranoid, not riding impatiently or recklessly and know that the ONLY thing that makes you safer is DISTANCE from other vehicles.

I am still amazed to no end Germany seems to be the only country in the world where it's forbidden to overtake on the right side. All these videos are a testament of why that rule makes sense.

If you assume every driver wants to Kill you, expect the driver next to you will come into your lane, assume that the driver wanting to get out into traffic will cut you off, etc. Then your ride will go much safer.
It's up to Us, the motorcyclist, to protect ourselves by being utterly aware at All Times.
It can be mentality exhausting, but by doing so, we can avoid incidents. Constantly aware of your surroundings. Stop blaming drivers for things that You could have avoided, had you been aware.
And fellow bikers, Stop looking back while cruising at speed, use your side-view mirrors.

7:20 groups of riders nearly always ride too close to each other making it impossible to overtake safely without overtaking the whole group at once. That's why the blue car is annoyed.
