Here’s the theme for the first post-launch Splatoon 3 Splatfest: Which would you bring to a deserted island? Gear, grub, or fun?

This Splatfest takes place Sept. 23-25, so get ready to make waves!

I’m Team Gear, you can find your own food on a deserted island, while fun is the least important one when it comes to survival. Not saying I would hate it, though

I'm going to have a hard time choosing between Grub and Fun.
They both sound good. Although I guess gear is very useful too.

Gear is probably my go to because while food is important, you could probably find it on the island itself. Gear however raises your chance of not only survival but it also may help you get rescued. Also going off of the idols shiver is my favorite, so therefore i am on team gear (probably)

I’m definitely going for team grub let’s be honest a lot of us don’t know how to cook animals safely or tell which vegetation is safe to eat and the water probably won’t be exactly drinkable A good supply of food could definitely help me survive a long time until I can get help, team grub all the way

I wouldn't trust myself to survive on a deserted island even if I brought gear or food, so might as well have fun.

I hope they add a possible reward for completing every story mode level with the weapons available.

I'd choose team Grub, simply because I love food and it's a great long-term solution. Also when you bring your own it could mean fruits and veggies that you could use for farming or making medicine later on. Livestock could also be included. Gear is useful too but you never know how abundant the island is in food and if an important tool breaks and you can't easily replace it.

Dang, who’s to say you can’t have fun with your Gear AND Grub? This theme will be difficult and as much as I want to support Team Big Man, I might not until next month we’ll see 😭😭😭
