Roger Daltry kissed me onstage at Woodstock, then exclaimed, "Oh, those virgin kisses!" because yes, I was a virgin and his kiss was my first. I was just a few days shy of my 18th birthday.❤🎉

What's more wild is both Cass Elliott and Keith Moon died in the same flat owned by Harry Nilsson . Nilsson did not want to let Moon stay there . Pete Townshend said lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice so Nilsson relented . Yes lightning may infact strike in the same place.

Interesting that no one mentioned that there is NO drums on the studio recording, just gently sweeping cymbals. I’m pretty sure no session drummer was brought in for this . Townshend talked about this in his book. Keith couldn’t get the time signature down, so they opted to omit drums.

How is it that Howard Stern was able to get away with years of degrading women, sexist rants, gay bashing and so much other behavior that has gotten others called out or at least removed from media?

Love "The Music Must Change." I learned it on my guitar, but the middle section was hard to master
and the lyrics were hard to get down. But I still love "the mountains as old as the earth, so the music
must change."

I saw them twice. Roger had and has a amazing voice. All the members of the Who Are, or were fantastic, unique musicians.

Keith was a painfully haunted Soul. RIP, KM, thanks for the music and memories.

You can not replace people like Keith and John they live on in the music 😎

I'm so glad I got to see The Who in 1989 with John still around.

They didn't use a session drummer they used townshends footsteps. Do better research

I just think it was a horrible co-incidence that Keith passed away just after they recorded this song in 1978 & then poor John in 2002. Things like this can play on folks psychological suggestibility though ....As for Keith not doing that drum part the way Pete Townshend wanted it, well, you didn't program Keith with time signature instructions because he was such an improvised FEEL player didn't 'program' Keith, you UNLEASHED him & let him come up with his own variations on the hoof & worked around doing it THIS way Keith would come up with something SPONTANEOUS which would be EVEN BETTER than what you had planned like a time script.

I'm sure Pete and Roger are anything but superstitious. I can't blame Roger in particular for not wanting to touch this song when taking into account how those two incredible tragedies are connected right to it.

I don't have any favourite musicians except one, Keith Moon on drums.
Wanna know something that will upset you to the core? When I saw the Who in 1977, the ticket cost $7 for a seat on the floor, 7th row, slightly left of centre stage in a 10-11, 000 seat indoor arena. They had one of the first ever laser light shows. (The next year I saw Van Halen: $8 for 8th row on the floor in the same arena.)

There's nothing logical about survivors guilt, and there's nothing that can make it go away.

The Who?? probably the best rock band of all time. Luckily, I was able to see them, before and after Keith died. I was on my way to France to ride in a bike race when i heard that John had also died June 2002 RIP Moony and The Ox.

That's too bad, because I like that song. But I can always listen to it, anyway.

Does he still sing the line "I hope I die before I get old"?

Keith would rarely use the High-Hats - he was all fast-Rolls and Ride Cymbals. I prefer the groove of Kenny Jones to be honest and I am a Huge Who fan. Daltrey & Entwistle are next level though.
