Yep I just traded my Galaxy Tab S7 Fe in for the Tab S8 and I like it a lot and it's a lot easier to hold it's still a big tablet but is not as big as the tab S7 Fe

Excellent review. I have the Tab S8 and my use case is the same as yours. Last year I bought the S7+ but it was just too big! When I first got it I was concerned about it being none amoled but now I never think about it. My only criticism is Eye Comfort Shield which looks like someone has thrown coffee at the screen!

I bought a secondhand s8 wifi, retired my s2 which I used for 6-7 years (still works, no lag). Main reason for upgrading is the second screen function for whenever I work outside. Still haven't explored what it can do aside from the said function I bought it for... I hope it will last me a long time like the s2. :)

hi, you have to put your S Pen always facing the camera, if you attaching it at the top (landscape mode) or at back (charging). It has stronger magnets that way.

I have S8 Ultra. It's a monster and difficult to move around. I traded in my S7+ for $600 to get S8 Ultra at lunch. I missed my S7+. Guess what! I bought a S7+ again today for $425 (128gb) from Samsung website (including Samsung rebate and educational discount).

Looks like everyone is loving S8, hovewer I returned mine because of the numerous bugs which made it difficutl for me to become a permanent user. To name a few: Dex windows often feeze. Unlocking tablet with biometrics was working on every 3rd attempt. Apps like FB looked funky and I had to use them in browser. Battery drained faster than was advertized. I am the only one who had such experience?

I grabbed the S8 Ultra. I already have a cellular ipad mini so I figured I might as well go big. Great tablet, especially for multitasking.

I last bought a Samsung tablet about 7 years ago, and I think it's finally time to get a new one. I have seen the Tab S8 on sale in a few places here, and I'm doing lots of research to figure out if it's worth it. Great review👍

I had heard the pen came off easy, so when I bought my case, I made sure to get one that has a pen holder for it on the back so I could keep up with it and it'll still stay charged

I have a 5 year old iPad Pro with a 10.5inch screen. Apple offers $35 trade-in. Against an S8 Ultra, Samsung offers $600 trade-in; against an S8 +, Samsung offers $150 trade-in.

Why isn't there a carrier-unlocked model?

I have this tablet for several months now and oh god I love it, it's still like I've unpacked it 1 minute ago, can't help myself stopp touching it all over the place like it's a girl.
The only thing concerns me is it's way too big and heavy (with 300 gramm armor case), tab s8+ even bigger, I can't imagine how people use s8+ or ultra.
Would be nice to have galaxy tab s9 mini (like ipad mini or z fold 4) with QHD 9 inch display instead of 11 inch, 300 or 400 grams instead 500 grams, OLED screen and 12gb ram, I would buy such a device instantly.

Love my Tab S8! I got $300 trade in for my Pixel 4a that I paid $350 for years ago. Great deal. Just waiting for more better optimized apps and LumaFusion. Need to figure out how to get full version of websites because it's serving mobile versions to me currently...

You have the S pen facing the wrong direction! The magnet is really strong when the pen faces up!
