Won ton is a comfort food for me that reminds me of better days growing up when we'd sit around the table wrapping won ton and sharing some family time.

What you want is probably "Won Ton Thin Wrappers". Here in the SF Bay Area, we're blessed with an abundance of Asian markets and food manufacturers so we have a choice of wonton wrapper, sui gow (literally water dog, they're for thicker skin water dumplings), siu mai wrapper (dim sum), and gok or kok jai skins (thick skins for frying - there's photos of this on my cooking blog wildchopsticks (link added to bottom of description). In general, thin skin for boiling. :)

YUMMY! I love wonton soup and I prefer them a bit meaty with a thinner wonton wrapping. Yours looks like the way I would like them. Going to try this soon. Thanks for the video!

Sorry to be a pain, but I also wondered what to ask for with the won ton skins - I like the thin ones you use but last time I bought very thick, yellow ones and they were not so nice. Just wondered if there is a term for them I can ask for when I go to the Asian grocer (who is an absolute sweety but I sometimes am ignorant in what to ask for). Thanks again!

The filling is raw meat right. Then how do you cook it. do you boil it in hot water or deep fry it.
