Показать описание
This Brooklyn Tweed knitting tutorial will teach you to work right- and left-leaning Twisted Stitches – essentially two-stitch cables, but with no need for a cable needle! Brooklyn Tweed's creative director Jared Flood walks you through the simple steps to create each of these attractively textured stitches.
Featured Yarn:
Arbor is a classic DK weight yarn with timeless versatility. American Targhee wool is worsted spun into a round and springy 3-ply yarn, perfect for crisp stitch definition and wear-everywhere knits. Skein-dyed in a painterly palette of solid colors.
Featured colors in this tutorial: Spruce -The hazy blue green of a misty forest.
Steps:
1:38 Right Twist (RT):
1:56 Step 1: Knit 2 stitches on L needle together but do not slip stitches off L needle.
2:15 Step 2: Knit into the first stitch on the L needle again; slip both stitches off L needle at once.
3:14 Left Twist (LT):
3:22 Step 1: Slip 2 stitches knitwise, one at a time, to R needle; return stitches to L needle in their new orientation.
3:56 Step 2: Knit into the back loop of the second stitch on the L needle but do not slip it off L needle.
4:17 Step 3: Knit into the back loops of the first and second stitches on the L needle together; slip both stitches off L needle at once.
