Life after Leprosy in Cambodia - Part 2:Thy's story

Thy's mother was a former leprosy patient; she noticed patches on him and when examined was diagnosed with leprosy. Thy's leprosy was diagnosed and treated early so he won't run the risk of developing leprosy.

The Novartis Foundation is working with the CIOMAL Foundation and the Cambodia National Leprosy Elimination Program on an innovative approach tracing former leprosy patients and screening their contacts to detect new leprosy patients earlier.
