With two of these paralleled is there any way run larger needs such as an HVAC system? I get that the Honda’s are 110 and my HVAC is 220 but is there any work around?

I got the recall letter in the mail, from Honda, and a week later almost burned my house down.
I got the recall notice and was going to take the generator in the following week.
I was leaving the house, to drive to another city, and realised I forgot my daybook, and returned pick up my book. That took about ten minutes, only to find a huge pool of gasoline in the workshop, spreading across the floor, towards the water heater. the air was thick with very strong gasoline fumes. I flung the door open ran over and turned off the gas to the water heater, and raised my shop overhead door. and opened all the windows. It took about 1/2 an hour to vent the whole place out.
Had I not returned home, my home likely would have suffered a catastrophic explosion and fire, from the gasoline and the propane gas water heater, destroying my home and killing my 3 dogs.
Do no wait to get this recall done, its free. Do not store these generators in the home or garage unless their gas tanks are completely empty. there was no sign of previous leaks of any kind. I have three of these generators.
it affects only the 2200w generators.
This happened last week mid may 2019.

Can you connect two eu2200i (non companion) together? If so how do you get the full 30amp from it if you only want to use one cord?

Honda 2100 I companion Can someone help me i removed the tether that holds the gas cap on to generator to drain gas in the process all the components fell out of gas cap and i cant figure the correct configuration of putting it back together so the off on switch works correctly on the cap..Any suggestions?

So when I run my eu2200i in parallel with my eu2000i am I getting 4200 watts of power or 4000?

Does using the dc output reduce the available power on the AC outputs, or is the DC output just the bulk/extra energy not being used on AC side?

How come they quit running all the time, , then all light indicators stop working..Honda used to be known to be undeniably reliable, I've changed oil twice in 2 days, 3 tanks of fuel, then nolonger sparks, indicates any issues, then off switches faulty or something..

Question, looking at powering 2 rv's with the parallel kit- my friend and I don't own the companion with its 30A output, so can we simply plug each RV into both generators Rather than using 1 output from the companion? Will the parallel kit share back and forth equally? Just a thought as the breaker is 20A on our generators, but if we plug into both, we could use the max power of the kit?

Too bad these don't come with dual fuel ability. 😥 What happens if one runs out of gas before the other? Any harm to generators ?
