I use to get a visit from a feral cat who I called Shadow. He was a bit nasty but over time. I'd feed him outside I didn't let him in the house. And he got friendlier. I know longer live at the property but he could still be about as he weren't that very old. Well he was alright with me after a while.

I feed a black feral cat, male also. He is the sweetest boy. I named him "Merlin"

What a handsome big boy. I used to work in a kitchen where a big black feral cat just like this one started coming around our back door. He would lay on the cement outside the door and then greet us whenever someone opened the door to go to the outside walk-in. We ended up building him a little cat house to keep him safe from the elements, and always made sure he had a full belly. I named him Buhgira. This was in 2017. He is still there today and is basically the boss of the kitchen now. The best part about this story is how Buhgira turned me into a cat person. I never had cats before him and now I have several cats adopted from my local shelter.

Every black cat i've ever met is exactly like this one in terms of chillness. I wonder if it's some kind of genetic trait.

I live in along the Willow River and I have two black cats that visit one at a time that look exactly like these two cats. Big boy looks exactly the same with the bent ear with the raw skin behind it. Both are big black cats.

Oh no. Big Boy has a scratch behind his ear. I hope he’s ok. Probably protecting his territory from other kitties. 🐈‍⬛
