How to fix SciTE4AutoHotkey Check for update Issue

Currently SciTE4AutoHotkey has an annoying "check for updates" issue. Here's how to fix it!

Go to Options
Open user properties
add the following line
save that file

Hopefully they will update the version of SciTE that SciTE4AutoHotkey is based off of.

Saw that the other day, just commented out the website for Fincs. Sad his site domain is gone.

I read from another user that if you press the right arrow key then Enter, it'll go away. Just incase no one wants to disable auto updates.

After seeing this error that I couldn't fix, I had deleted the program but then saw this video. So I downloaded the program again and the problem seems to have been fixed. After the download, it prompted me to install 2 updates. Looks like the problem may have been fixed in the software because I no longer have the problem.

Hello, I have a doubt regarding use of sciTE4Autohotkey. Before I installed the program I could normally click the executable ahk file and it would compile and create a tray icon in the taskbar. Now having installed it it keeps opening the edit window when double clicked and I have to press F5 every time to compile. I just want it to be like double click the file and execute the file and then if I want to I can right click and specifically hit "Edit script" to edit it. Is there a way to get through this problem?
