Met Mike yesterday at OPT. He was very knowledgeable and very excited about the product. I even picked one up for myself. Seems like a great product so far, looking forward to using it in the field.

I was thinking about getting some of these until I saw that the replacement filters are nearly twice the price of the 3M filters. You're looking at $30 for a single pair of dust filters, and $50 for the organic vapor cartridges, at least in Canada.

The GVS is an unsung hero. It's amazing on many levels and affordable. ❤

Can you talk comfortably and be understood while wearing them? Would you recommend them for a teacher with a medium size class?

Do you just switch any of the availible filters into the same respirator when needed? I cant tell if we are to purchase multiple respirators depending on the job at hand or whether all types filters are interchangable??

I'm 13 so i'm worried about what mask to get as I want to be safe from harsh chemicals ill be using

I'm getting into the screen printing business and I need to reclaim my screens and the chemicals are extremely strong, also doing alot of paint jobs.. Would this protect well and filter everything?

The 3m ones are way better both in airflow and the straps are more comfortable and easier to put on and take off

What about the OV/P100 mask? Am I correct in understanding that those protect you just as well against asbestos but also more things like vaours? Can any inward leakage happen through the exhalation valve?

I have used these masks and they were not for me. If you need a respirator half mask get the 3m quick release mask

What safety glasses would you recommend with these (woodworking)? The glasses I have sit too high on the nose making them useless (I have the mask but without the goggles)

Would this mask be enough for all of the fumes a nail tech is around? I'm a little confused with all of the options for filters

I like the gvs elipse mask, I've got two of them at the moment, but as a construction site sprayer, once you've got the a2p3 filters on you literally cant see anything below eye level and it's pretty dangerous when you're blind below your nose. Good quality, good price, terrible design.
