Thanks for posting this update, Joe; I noticed in the photo of the deal listing that some components are different vs. the original pkg.
Joe, I'm wondering specifically -- do you think that the guitar materials & build are the same as your first in one (aside from lack of MAB signature and perhaps the PUs)?

I bought a sawtooth like 2yrs ago it felt like it weighed a pound...plugged it in and played it for 5min put it down called my nephew and told him come over I have guitar parts for you lol

I'd try to compare the humbuckers with the newer model. I believe the older model's pickups were better. My version bought this June has farty microphonic pickups. It's a Rise with a 2nd pickup. Have to say the 15" radius maple fretboard makes bends super easy.

Well let's face it for $149.99 you're not really going to get much anyway. Although I am sorry to hear that saw tooth has downgraded the quality of their package deals.

Yeah.... wow. Good vid, Joe. That entire package is a giant steaming pile of crap. LOL Glad you do these things, so we can actually see what's up. You'll move that stuff out - to the trash can, and get a few bucks I'm sure - for that guitar. But it's all garbage. I agree with several others in the comment section. You reach a point where you end up throwing $149 at complete garbage. They fool people with this bundling crap. Most of it is absolute junk. And sadly... looks like Sawtooth is just another company doing the old bait & switch routine. Putting out something at least half-way decent. Getting an audience. And then switching to garbage like that. Sad. I'm like the others... I'll add another hundred to my $149... and actually get something. And I want all the guitar I can get for that money. Not all the other useless crap. Anyway - another really good vid by you - to show people how all this works. You're doing good work, my man.

Sorry, but that guitar looks like crap too, in my opinion. I'd much rather save my 149 bucks toward a Harley Benton at the very least.
