As an fsu fan, pat Payton is not that guy. He did very well last year, but was when the o lines were having to focus on Jared verse, Fabian Lovett, Brandian fiske, etc. He had his chance to be the star player on defense, and he was above average at best. Not that disappointed he’s leaving 🫤

What crazy to me, is we can brag on all of these transfers from the likes of a SMU or a Indiana or another conference beside the SEC or the B10 but we don't want these other universities playing in the 12 team playoffs. Yet I see a lot of SEC universities recruiting them through the portal. What ever happened to what's good for the goose is good for the gander!!!! Plus also some of these kids that have entered the transfer portal aren't these universities problems. It's a look in the mirror problem which will follow them in time. Duce needed to step up and he played small for a big man. Zac needed to put in the work also, Lemon did and Zac found that to be a problem. He actually had more playing time than anyone else. So I think we all have a mirror time in our life and it's that time more than not with the new transfer portal and NIL!!!!

Duce played more and he was a starter and needed to step up and it will be needed at his next stop. He has a big mirror and needs to use it. It's a growing pain that's should make him work harder. The kid was a starter and it's not USC fault that he didn't grow up!!!

Good decision by Payton. Should have never gone to play for Norvell. That man can’t develop high school recruits. He is going into y6 with yet again another portal team.

Cannot wait to see how the NIL changes after federa; ;egislation, I get name Image Likeness, but not for high school recruitts. They have 0 Production value in the ncaa. There is no reason to pay any high school kid a dime. Once at school there should be a contract, in that contract is an itemized cost of recruiting tjhem so if after 1 year they want to jump and another team wants that player they wil;l have to buyout that players contract in addition to value added performance based off the previous years. so the receiving team will have to buy out that players performance and the possibility of that performance improving and or reamining static to current Production.
