The nation of USA is (and long has been) broke, and there is nothing but more spending on the horizon, because only one congress in the last 250 years has ever done the singular thing required by The Constitution of The United States to give congress any authority to pass any laws in the first place. (Pass a balanced budget) None the less, Republican and Democrat Presidents routinely report our economy is strong. Study after study concludes that public opinion has virtually no effect on policies. The public is starting to lash out at law enforcement because Law enforcement is where the public and the government most directly come into contact with one another. Parties who by nature represent international conglomerates have taken over every facet of government from the bottom to the top, thereby usurping the people's representation. One third of Americans have been arrested by the time they reach age 23. Democrat and Republican politicians who have, and continue to bankrupt the government while enriching themselves, now control every branch of government, including many many unelected (So called "deep state") activists committing acts of culture terrorism and other crimes against humanity without fear of reprisal.
Orwellian changes from dictionaries to chat bots replacing objective definitions with subjective terms, and media is controlled with advertising and propaganda. No lawful free industry yet exists that is unregulated (controlled) by government. The people who promise you "The land of the free" have created the undisputed most litigious (and therefore least free) society on planet Earth, making the populace only a few privileges above abject chattel slaves.
