Thanks as always for this kind of video! I'm interested in all five of these games, and tips about Kickstarter projects are always helpful, since they can be hard to find sometimes. I've already backed Girl from Arkanya, which as you say has nice pixel art, adorable-ness, and music/sound covered. Let's hope that story and gameplay live up to the potential presented in the trailer.

I'll echo what a couple of other comments have said: by far the most exciting game currently open on Kickstarter is Eiyuden Chronicle! Of course, at almost $3 million already raised in the campaign, and certainly other external backers/publisher on the way, the game almost doesn't qualify as "indie". As a Suikoden 1 & 2 fanatic, though, I am super-excited. The same week that game's campaign was announced, Naka and Ohshima announced Balan Wonderworld coming from Square Enix, a game which hearkens back to my absolute #1 favorite game of the 90's Nights into Dreams. So that week was quite a happy, nostalgic one for me! I almost could not believe it was real, watching these 50-something guys (my age as well) talking with real excitement about making these two games. Back in 1996, I would have named Nights and Suikoden in my top 5 favorite games of the year, next to Tomb Raider, Super Mario 64, and Panzer Dragoon 2. Will these callback games be able to recapture some of that 25 year old magic? ...

The girk from Akanya pixel art is way too similar to A Link to the Past. As do the gameplay... I don´t know if I´ll be able to shake that feeling off.

Intergalactic Mining Company looks fantastic, tho. Definitely will keep an eye on it.
