Oprah…I too was one of those kids that had a basket show up with food, clothes and toys for me. We would not have had a Christmas, I remember that moment vividly when they showed up, the pants that made me feel special. We were on welfare and I did not know how poor we were until then.
It taught me to want to give to other children so that they know they matter.

That Oprah show in South Africa is one of my favorites, I was flooded with tears watching the happy faces of those children. I have never been more proud of Oprah or believed in her more than that show!! You moved me in ways I can’t describe. And believe me I loved your shows with Gary Zukoff, and Mattie Stepaneck the paralyzed boy in a wheel chair with a breathing tube who wrote a book of poetry. All incredible shows and they will never leave me! Much love to you Oprah, where ever you are! You change lives, you changed mine!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
