Public Speaker Reacts to Jordan Peterson

Today I’m reacting to Jordan Peterson Interviews and Lectures. How does he grab people their attention in his talks and what makes him stand out from others? This is what I’m exploring in this video and reacting to it with my vast knowledge about public speaking and communication skills.

Professionals or youtubers?

What's wrong with your current formula of doing both? This keeps the audience engaged, exposes them to different individuals, and (more importantly) gives us, the viewer, a wide range of people to learn from.

The happiness david experiences while watching Jordan is the way I feel watching David

Jordan Peterson's ethos really shines through in his public speech. He's been lecturing for about 4 decades at this point and he's talked extensively about public speaking, confidence, projecting yourself in the public space. He's sold out every show he's ever done and spoken to tens of hundreds of thousands of people at this point. But you can really see his alarming skill and precision of speaking when you watch these older videos of his lectures at the UofT from around 2015-2016. About the ring fidgeting he does, he does get anxiety and has suffered from an autoimmune disease his entire life, even had certain points in his life he was terribly addicted to pain killers, I think the ring thing is a side effect of years and years of habit, doesn't really matter as he doesn't let that slow him down. Even when you watch his Harvard lectures or TV interviews he's done in the early 2000's he's always been good with words and body language. I wish more people would pay attention to how Peterson commands his audience in his speech, he really is a top pro.

You should react to famous magicians, a lot of their tricks come from confident public speaking and being able to draw people's attention from what's actually going on behind the scenes of their trick

I like this. You have been covering a couple of youtubers. Those were good. This however was interesting on a completely different level. I'd like to see more professional speakers.
