Do you know any history of the Burness family from around the 1500-1700

I once suggested to my wife that we add a prison access door to our bedroom. I was met with a resounding NO. Apparently I am not the Lord of my castle. Also no labeled "secret hiding place". But we do have a secret basement trap door at our cottage, so all is not lost! Thanks for another great explore, Kim!

19 Children oh my god! but what do you expect with no TV! no laptop games to play and all the rest of it, that was a lovely journey Kim thank you so much for sharing it with us....

I love videos of my home town. When used to tour these castles we used to intersperse castle s with whiskey tastings.

Fab Castling wee lassie. Amazing to think how they could build such mega structures and the effort it would take to do so! It would be a mammoth task nowadays, even with all of today’s technology and heavy machinery. Atb, Dazza.

Lovely video. When you said that bit about 19 children, I thought about my neighbor when I lived in New York...they had 15 children and I could never remember the kids' names. It still is just mind boggling to me that people achieved these structures without any large equipment - just lots of man power. Amazing. Thanks again Kim.

Something about watching a vlog about a Scottish castle from someone with an awesome Scottish accent. Sorry but some of us Americans love that kinda stuff.
