I made a list of customers, but since the document is on a shared folder for our staff, I protected the sheet, but now my list is not searchable anymore. How can I fix this?

This option is need for numbers also because i have 100 bank accounts to find very difficult

The dropdown is not searchable anymore. The only way it works is if you have selected the item from the list previously. is this a glitch?
