Jesse, you didn't let yourself grow old. A lot of people wish you had. Rest in Peace, hope you're crackin' em up and got a golden mandolin wherever we all end up.

I didn't know he died... I came back to this song and read the comments...
Tears flow from my eyes... Realizing Jesse will never grow old.
I hate drugs... Next time you glorify getting high remember those fallen.
R.I.P Jesse

If I would have found his music 6 years earlier, I prolly would have never gotten sober. Prolly would have still been cooking, listening to this. Passion like this only comes from struggles. I'm glad youtube suggested him to me today. I cried, feeling what he is talking about. I'm sorry to his family that those "struggles" took their son.

If you look at the way he plays his instrument, you can see the passion/pain he has felt. R.I.P Jesse you will never be forgotten by me ❤

Tears filled my eyes when I learned of Jesse's death. This man was an incredible artist. I first heard cold beer through my recommendations and it reminded me of my father who passed away when I was 19, he was a great man, but struggled with addiction and its what eneded up leading to his death. I went to jesses page and listened to all his songs and they helped me through some hard times. Thank you for leaving your mark on this earth, rest easy jesse ❤

Watching you grow up, you were like one of my kids, a brother to my children, but now you're gone. Mom wishes you weren't. She listens to your songs and still cries. We miss your visits.

As a 32yo, broken by other people's choices, further broken by me spirling out. Jesse spoke to me. I didnt chose to be here and i feel bad for forcing another person to be in this world. She is why im still here, but no one wants to be here.

I'm in tears hearing the news. Never have i seen someone play and sing with such passion and heart. He put his entire soul into his music. I started playing mandolin 100% because of him. Rest in Peace Jesse❤
