Featuring Jesse Stewart, Sean Christ, and Jon Bulkmilk.

Originally Cry Tunes by Donnie Dumphy.
Song written by Ian St Aubin.

When it comes to emotion,
makes me start choking
so I, sit by the ocean
spent my last buck on a bottle of whiskey
drunk and broke
sittin' here in history
I made my mind up
How I'm going
I got no where to go
don't know where I'm going
I do know one thing
one thing that is true
wherever I go, I'm gonna need you
we just cant let each other go now
we're too close, to ever slow down
the only one who keeps my chin up
when you touch my lips we're like two dogs stuck

cold, cold beer
don't you ever worry
I am right here
never live without you
don't care what I amount to, no.
talkin' bout cold cold beer
don't you ever worry, I am right here
can't ever live without you

I pick you up
I take you home
sit on my couch, turn off my phone,
cuz I love your taste, love your smell
who would ever thought that we could do so well
hell, I guess we're meant for each other
sorta like the microphone and my buddy Bruce Buffer
I can't really express my joy
sorta like a scrap between Osgood and Patty Roy
I cant take my eyes off you
went to rehab, thought that I lost you
but now we're are back together, with a vengeance
must be my little, Irish descendance .
it feels pretty good, to get this off my chest
even though people sayin, Jesse's obsessed
well maybe I am, maybe their right
one thing that I know, it was love at first sight.

Yeah, cold cold beer
don't you ever worry I am right here
can never live without you
i wouldn't even want to
cold, cold beer
don't you ever worry
i am right here
never live without you
you don't care what I amount to
Well I'm sitting on my stoop feelin' kinda lonely
me and Brenda fightin' so I call up the homies
but guys busy hangin' out in front of Sobey's
there's only one little fella who really knows me
he comes in a little brown, bottle or can
sits in my hand til I can barely stand
he's part of the family, he's part of the team
Took me under his wing when I was just a teen
every time he comes around he always,
takes me back to when I had a fake ID, and a little dirt stash
Get a road soak, cold pop, two-four, wob pop, pop top, twist top, tall boy, cold shot
BEER, cold, cold beer
don't you ever worry, I am right here
never live without you
you don't care what I amount to,
Oh cold beer,
don't you ever worry,
I am right here can't ever live without you
I wouldn't even want to

Okay I saw a guy comment something when I was reviewing comments marked as spam he said something about stolen lyrics and well I never claimed this was MY song, but this style of playing it and the chord choices are all me also I'm in contact with the WRITER of the song not Donnie dumphy the performer, and  am flying  to Toronto to record a studio version with assistance within the next couple weeks, hopefully less.

I rarely comment, but my god if that wasn’t one of the best songs I’ve heard in a while drifting around YouTube.

This is the perfect video for this song. A bunch of beer drinkers that don't know when to shut up slowly recognising something magical unfolding before them. Such is life.

I love how the song starts before they are even filming. He wasnt singing a song to become famous, if was just for his friends sitting around. Meanwhile it gets nearly 10 million views

You know it's good when no one's bitching about it being filmed vertically

Rest In Peace to one of my good friends, Jesse Shea Stewart. July 18, 1990 - November 22, 2021
I wish I could have done better for you as a friend here in Edmonton, I consider you my best friend. You and Arlo and Evan this summer, banjo and acoustic at the river, 15 packs of beers in July, just jamming and basking in the sun. And when we’d order skip and watch Rick and Morty and you’d sing to your own songs on YouTube to me in my living room ugh Arlo on the couch. I’m really gonna fucking miss you. I hope Arlo makes it home safe to your mama and most of all, you as well. Safe travels and may you Rest In Peace with the creator. Jesse. Until we meet again. 🖤 Sunshine

This video single-handedly changed my taste in music. I was a bored hip-hop head when I first heard it, dived into folk punk with Days N Daze and Railyard ghosts, then moved to Southern Gothic country, and eventually indy country with artists like Colter Wall, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers etc. I'll always have an appreciation for this one. RIP Jesse, thank you for expanding my horizons.

This is fucking talent. His rasp gives me goosebumps, and his transitions are so clean. I love this.
