i dont know wether to buy the new paperwhite or the new aura ..the aura is better i think and it supports more types of files so i will be able to read my walking dead comics and i also would never have to mind the storage issue where on the other hand amazon dicreased the storage again....maximum is 1000 books but im still not sure please answer and keep in mind that the price is so issue thanks

goodereader has a nice side-by-side comparison review done entirely in a dark room for this device. he basically shows that the lighting has far better range than competitors and kobos. the frontlight can be turned off, set very low, or set higher than any other device, plus the color isn't blueish which can be harsh in a dark room.

I'm waiting for the higher res screen of the Aura HD to make it's way into this product before I upgrade from my Kobo Glo.

But the flush screen is sure tempting! :)

Pocket integration alone moved this from "oh that's nice" to "Christmas list"

I would certainly say so. This device, while a bit more pricey, is a much better buy. the new display makes the device less bulky, which means reading is much easier. If you read PDFs, then this device's price tag will pay off really quickly.

I think the Nook Simple Touch was the first beautifully designed e-reader. I love my Nook ST with Glowlight. But I don't like the direction the newer Nook is taking.

When it's time for replacement, I'll likely get the Kobo Aura. That flush screen is SWEET!
