Sir, these are the best demonstrations of the Kani Basami throw. 40+ years ago in South America I learnt it under the name CRAB CLAW LOCK.Since then and over time I have come across its demonstrations in various yoututube videos and whilst I respectfully give credit and appreciation to those concerned, I must honestly accept that yours is the best and especially so with the variations, which I have never thought of. Excellent well done outstandingly good, so I offer my thanks in full.🤛👊🤜

This was a really good demonstration and I am glad this forbidden Sport Judo throw has been banned in competition but it is retained with other techniques in the Cannon of judo.

No wonder that was banned. I can see how someone could get their leg broken if someone doesn't know what they're doing.

even without the "power swing", the leverage and the weight will ensure kani basami will drop the opponent... if you miss the timing, all the weight will be on the opponents forward ankle... BREAKING IT.

this is an crippling move, and youre teaching it wantonly without caution
