Celtic 0-3 Real Madrid | Full-Time Reaction

A spirited Celtic performance wasn't enough to take points from Real Madrid, as the reigning European Champions claimed a 0-3 win at Celtic Park in the opening group stage game.

Goals from Vinicius Jr, Modric & Hazard were enough for the Spaniards. Celtic competed very well for 60 minutes and had the better chances in the 1st half. McGregor rattled Courtois' post and Liel Abada spurned a great chance on the counter attack.

Plenty of encouragement for the Hoops though and we can go to Warsaw next week with confidence to face Shakhtar.

We got picked off by some world class players. we had chances and a combination of brilliant goal keeping and fractional misses have done us. but the Real players have all made the same choices when they wwere at our level. it's up to the players to take this performance, learn from it, make the slight adjustments and they will be £40M+ players by the end of the season. The bhoys and the fans were superb. And finally, third times the charm for the madrid manager. lol

Ange Postecoglou, what a guy! That really was a good shot at the champions, we came out and played the Celtic way, and done ourselves proud despite the result. I love the way the manager and the team came out and pressured the European Cup holders.
