I agree with Colin's assessment of the the late King. I have read books about King George VI and the Queen Mum. What I got from reading was that the King George VI was kind, brave, loyal, determined and wise. People underestimated him because he stammered. I think the Queen Mum was a good help to the King. She was good at P.R. and I think she was protective of those close to her. They seemed to have a good marriage. Cheers, from America!
