Your tutorial series has been something of a God-send. You explain everything so simply, straightforwardly, and clearly. Well done, and very helpful. Thank you.

(I rendered some AOVs in Arnold recently and did not select "merge" in the render settings. Got what you described and the compositors needed me to do it over again. The separate AOV frames were apparently blank, to boot. Not sure why. But, I sent the project over again with the proper settings. Hopefully the compositors will be happy with what they get.)

Can you please tell me why I can't import .exr in after effect? At the beginning it says .Gynger proxy error...After that I give ok...After effect could not read from source...And after .exr file unsupported...Thank you

Question, if I may?

I rendered out a 90-frame sequence (I see the frames in the explorer window, so I know they're there), but when I go to click on 'OpenEXR Sequence', it's grayed out. Everything else was checked as directed in your tute. When I try to bring it in the other way (Import dialogue, 'OpenEXR Sequence'), it imports the range, but says that there's only one frame to play when I try to do a RAM preview.

Any ideas what could be going on? Have you ever encountered this?

Now.. these frames have about 6 or 7 AOVs. The frames are about 2.8GB each. Does that sound normal to you?

Sorry to trouble you. Thanks.
