It's crazy how many people underestimate how hard it is to play OF in baseball.

Freshman year I was my teams starting LF. Coach shifted me to CF for a game. I handled it but it was the difference between being in a pond vs the Pacific Ocean. So much ground to cover. It LOOKS different in CF.

I always played RF or CF, in the last game I had to play LF and it was extremely difficult, it felt like I had never played baseball, especially against RHB, the readings are very difficult.

I used to play center and when I went to right or left, i had a harder time seeing the ball off the bat.

I’m sure just about any 2B SS and 3Bs can play outfield but them outfielders probably can’t play those positions. I was surprised to see Mookie Betts at 2nd recently honestly. Right field is usually strongest arm. Left field is usually worst fielder in OF.
