Many people have expressed in the past that they would like to buy me a drink / support the channel / leave a tip to say thanks for the help I have provided them via the comments and videos, but until now have had no way of doing it.
I have now created a page for anyone who wishes to do so (NO OBLIGATION WHATSOEVER!)
and I still fully appreciate everyone who supports the chanel via the views, subscriptions or simply giving me a thumbs up.

I've owned 3 OLEDs and never watched a single programme in vivid mode. I have a similar light environment and have only really suffered from reflections. Brightness has been more than adequate.

Paul! Another great video. Seems to be a habit with you. Even pointing out the couch isn't in the way just shows attention to detail. You're even fun to listen to. Your videos are more useful than a lot of reviews and tests I've seen because you talk about real-world issues and then you actually show them. So useful!!!

This has convinced me OLED is the way to go for my similar room. I always believed QLEDs superior peak brightness and anti-reflective screen would overcome window but ... my word 😱 I cant believe how well the OLED superior contrast cuts through those mirror like reflections in the Christmas lights scene, it actually makes the QLED look weak and washed out despite the superior brightness. Well done Paul 👍 you've made me a believer 😉

I have been running my LG BX OLED in dark and bright room and it does great when my room is bright and I have zero complaints.

Brilliant comparison, I don't know of a better one on youtube. Very helpful, thank you.

Although qula does look washed out and the black levels on a OLED make everything pop and look I've noticed you can see objects that are in the darker parts in the background come through on a QLED but with an OLED since it doesn't get that bright you're missing a lot of things in the background!!!

For example scary movie or scary scene it's darkly lit... Don't get me wrong I love OLED BUT I wish it got brighter to where you could see things in the background of scenes better (dark places)

Thanks so much for actually SHOWING a normal living room situation and not just talking about it like everyone else kudos mate! I really don't get the complaints about the LG OLED being "bad" in bright rooms, watching this video with the two sets as any normie would "calibrate" them I really didnt see that much of a difference. Now I just have to decide what LG to go for, the A1, B1 or C1 (only gonna stream Prime, Netflix etc) no gaming. Any tips there?

Thanks for a "real world" review. Nobody else seems to ever show this stuff. It's either really technical using test cards or just some fanboy wittering on about how great oled is. I am still on the fence but leaning towards oled as DSE with Samsung is far more prevelant it seems than is screen burn. Keep up the great work!

The OLED surprises me with its brightness levels.

Brightness and color saturation, especially white color, are better in QLED, while OLED is better in depth of black color, viewing angle and other details that the average user will not notice

My LG c9 is quite prone to reflections but so long as it's not placed on a wall facing a window it's fine. It copes well even under full sunlight in terms of brightness but reflections are the main problem in the daytime. Superb image quality compared to my last Samsung (not Q led TV). Positioning is key. Wall spot lights can also get reflected in the screen. No issue for us as we don't have any.

Nice video but I wish you would have played a bit with the camera iso to match one screen, then the other, to really see how much of a difference in brightness it is

I would love to see a comparison between the C1 and the A80J regarding reflections - is the matte finish making a different on the 80J? :)

People get so tore up about qled vs oled. I think it is quite simple, if you love brightness and have a bright room get the qled otherwise get the oled for super deep blacks and contrast. I personally love brightness so I get qleds. I love oled dont get me wrong but you always got to pick for yourself, not because someone told you something is the best.

Hello Paul. LG looks great! I was able to tell that it looked better than the Samsung before you said which was which. Black levels are incredible on the LG OLED.

I went to go and view a couple of TVs in store today, granted they are probably pushing the brightness in the settings as a display model, but the A1 and C1 were in a brightly lit store and were more than bright enough to be visually amazing

Oled display is just so much beautiful. I recently purchased one and was taken aback. Can never go back to any lcd/led display now. Its a shame Samsung is not making oled tvs and keeps pushing lcds with fancy names. Even when it sells THE best Amoled displays on its mobiles.
