J'adore ces expressions! Je n'ai jamais appris au lycée et université! Mon préféré est "à la Saint-Glin-Glin"! xx

omg aux Philippines aussi, on dit “may dumaan na anghel” (un ange passe) when everyone suddenly simultaneously stops talking for a moment. It's a really curious and amusing phenomenon. I usually experience it at school when we don't have a teacher in the classroom yet and we're all casually talking to each other and then everyone suddenly stops talking for a moment then we all laugh afterwards and then some say “un ange passe” (but of course in Filipino)

Ok, I totally love your videos. I am Colombian but I live in the US for 13 years. I am a Spanish teacher so I truly appreciate how clearly and articulated you teach. My first language is Spanish, obviously side I was born and raised in Colombia, my second language is English, since that's the language I speak in my daily life, but Le français est la langue que je aime. Je ai pris quelques cours il ya plusieurs années, mais ce que je ai à la pratique avec, je ai oublié.
Thank you for your videos. Let me know how can I learn more from you. You are awesome!

I love how you give the common/familiar/elegant ways of saying various phrases. A very familiar way to say, 'à pétaouchnok' is 'bum f**k Egypt' (very familiar, obviously with the 'f' word in there)
I had to repeat the French version a million times, with a million laughs. I bet it will come out of my mouth right when the situation presents itself. Thanks again, Geraldine :D

Great vid! It would be amazing if you could give us indications about french books or films for beginners. I always try to find by myself, sometimes it works( Les noms de gens) and sometimes not(Cap ou pas cap).I actually hate the last one and love the first xD

I heard this one this other day, but I'm not sure if it's commonly used or not: Faute de grives, on mange des merles. I was told it's fairly equivalent to the English expression "beggars can't be choosers." Has anyone ever heard this one in conversation before?

En Anglais, people sometimes say 'as rare as hen's teeth' which is similar to 'Quand les poules auront des dents.'

Thank you...why do you have it categorized under education instead of how-to and style?
